The Sigvaris Melany serves its purpose. Right off the bat, I love that the handles are adjustable. This is the only device on the market that allows you to adjust the handles. What is ideal for one is likely not for the next user. Being able to extend the handles to a height best suited for you almost makes it worth buying all by itself.
The Melany can also help remove your compression socks and stockings. In talking with clients, removing a compression sock can sometimes prove more difficult. It does work but it is not the easiest thing to do in my opinion. It is a bit bulky and you want to move the handle down a bit because they tend to get in the way, at least it did for me. I am not as sold on the removal piece of it, but it does work. I could also see someone being a bit aggressive or agitated damaging their compression stocking if not careful; compression socks should be fine since they are more durable.
The biggest negative for me is the price, but it is built to last or I have never heard of one breaking.
